Il y a quelques semaines. Some weeks ago.

Ce matin, bise noire et première chute de neige. De quoi se rappeler le jour où je peignais dans le petit port de La Tour-de-Peilz. Il y a de ça très longtemps  ...2 semaines au moins!

This morning we woke up with a very strong cold wind and the first snow fall. I miss the day when I was painting in La Tour-de-Peilz. This happenend a long time ago  ...2 weeks at least!

"Couleurs" d'automne. Fall "colors".

Ce n'est qu'en cherchant ma boîte de couleurs au fond du sac, tout là-haut à la Cape au Moine, que je me suis rendu compte que je l'avais oubliée à la maison... Tant pis, j'ai quand même voulu restituer ce sentiment d'espace qui se dégageait, vu d'en haut, de cette vue du Lac Léman. J'y ai ajouté deux amoureux surpris à une terrasse.

That was only when I was digging into my backpack I realized I had forgotten my box of colors at home... Anyway I wanted to share this subjective impression of wildness given by the Lake of Geneva seen from very far above, in the mountains. I also sketched this couple lost in their sweet thoughts.

En balade dans la forêt d'Aletsch, ce chemin m'a intrigué. Plus précisément l'endroit où le chemin s'efface à droite pour prendre une direction qu'on ne connait pas encore. J'ai un peu dramatisé la scène
et mis en évidence l'emplacement où le chemin va s'ouvrir sur un autre décor.

Walking in Aletsch my attention was drawn by this trail. More precisely by the spot where the trail disappeared on the right before taking another direction. I emphasized the scenery a bit to attract the viewer to this spot.

Un jour de pluie à visiter une galerie! A rainy day to visit a gallery!

C'était hier le vernissage de mon expo avec une quarantaine d'oeuvres exposées. J'y serai ce dimanche après-midi pour vous accueillir! Comme apéritif, je vous en montre deux, une déjà vendue et une autre encore en attente d'être adoptée.
