La tradition veut que chez nous, le 1er mai, dans le canton de Fribourg, les enfants aillent de maison en maison pour chanter et annoncer le printemps. Celui-ci, aperçu l'année passée à Albeuve, avait l'air d'avoir un gros chagrin. Sa maman, qui l'avait habillée tout exprès en armailli, essaie de la consoler. Et moi, j'ai essayé de le peindre dans cet esprit.
