J'ai toujours eu un faible pour les granges. On s'y sent à l'abri, en sécurité, et on peut jeter un oeil dehors pour se demander qui a parqué son pickup.

I have always liked barns. There you feel cosy and safe. One can have a look outside and wonder whose pickup is this.

 

Un vautour en hiver. A vulture in the winter.

Abandonnée depuis des années, la vieille buvette a connu ses heures de gloire quand il y avait encore les ski-lifts à Semsales. Maintenant, on se demande si elle va passer l'hiver. Un peu plus loin, dans un champ, un "vautour" semble attendre son heure...

This derelict café used to be very popular in the years we enjoyed skiing in Semsales. Now I wonder if it will survive this winter. Nearby, a"vulture" is looking at it in a funny way...

J'aimerais me balader en raquettes! I feel like snowshoeing!

Le problème, c'est qu'on a cette année un hiver plutôt bizarre avec très peu de neige. Alors, j'en profite pour peindre mes envies...

I wish I could snowshoe but we haven't enough snow this winter (till yet!). So, instead of this I paint my daydream...

Un calendrier qui a eu du succès. A popular calendar.

Je pensais juste en tirer une petite dizaine et finalement, ce sont plus de 60 calendriers qui m'ont été demandés et que j'ai dû recommander. Tous vendus! Mais si jamais quelqu'un en aurait quand même une petite envie, je peux voir.

At first, I thought that 10 calendars was enough but it turned out that many people were interested in them so that I had to reorder 50 more. Sold out! But in case somebody felt frustrated and wanted one, I can still try.
